Orchard Celebrancy

The death of a loved one, whether expected or not, is a difficult and emotional time, and the funeral service is a vital and important part of beginning the healing process. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things to do and this must be achieved in the most fitting way for the person who has died, and in a manner they would have wanted. This would reflect their true nature and personality and capture the essence of who they really were and how their legacy will live on.

I am dedicated to constructing a bespoke and reflective ceremony that will be a tribute to the life of your loved one and capture their heart and essence of life. I will work with you to help choose special songs, music and readings that create a true celebration of their life, and a lasting tribute.

I am happy to officiate at either non-religious funerals, or for those who still want an element of religion/spirituality included.

The first steps

I will put the family first in every instance. Whether you'd prefer to speak with with me via, email, telephone or face to face, I will meet you wherever you feel most comfortable even in the comfort of your own home. Once we have agreed a time, we can discuss as much or as little of your loved one as you wish and create a beautiful ceremony in memory of their life.

The heart of the ceremony

After meeting with you and your family, I will start working on an individual script and order of service for your loved one. I will work with you every step of the way to make any amendments or last minute additions. I will also work closely with your chosen funeral director to ensure a dignified smooth running ceremony for your loved one.

On completion of your loved ones unique service I will provide you with the full script for you to keep.
